Pay in 3 or 4 instalments with Alma in Shopware

Make larger purchases easier by spreading payment. The Alma connector adds one payment method per enabled plan, shows the schedule before purchase and checks each payment with Alma before the order is considered paid.

Offer the plans open to the merchant

3x and 4x plans are offered; 10x and 12x plans are ready to be enabled as soon as Alma opens them for the merchant account. Each plan becomes a Shopware payment method per sales channel, with a translatable name, description and logo.

For each plan, the merchant sets a minimum and maximum amount, within the limits set by Alma. Configuration is isolated per sales channel and per test or production environment; keys are never sent back to the browser.

Show the schedule before purchase

A payment schedule widget appears on the product page and in the cart. It is calculated on the price actually applied, including variant, quantity and promotions.

Customers can also pay after ordering from their account or the Shopware guest link, as long as the order can still be modified.

Check every payment with Alma

At checkout, eligibility is checked server-side, then the customer pays on the payment page hosted by Alma before returning to the shop. The browser return, the Alma notification and a reconciliation task re-read the payment from Alma and match it to the order: amount, plan and channel.

A double click or a repeated notification never creates two payments. If Alma is unavailable, only the Alma methods disappear: other payment methods remain available.

Frame the go-live

The Alma contract determines which plans are open to the account. Payment is limited to the euro and to France, for both billing and delivery; refunds and manual capture are outside the current scope. Production checks are still required before going live.
