Customer passwords: define login rules in Shopware
Align account access with your password policy. FroggShop extends Shopware authentication with checks on password creation, renewal and login.
Present the rules when choosing a password
The policy can define requirements for digits, lowercase letters, uppercase letters and special characters. Minimum length uses the Shopware setting.
These requirements accompany password creation and changes so customers can correct their input before continuing.
Guide accounts that need password renewal
Checks account for accounts without a password and expired passwords. Dedicated mechanisms also support legacy password migration, depending on the enabled options.
Login by customer number can be offered when the corresponding setting is active. It resolves the account identifier before delegating authentication to Shopware.
Test access policy and account recovery
Validity periods, requirements and migration cases must be tested with recovery journeys and associated emails. Interactions with imported accounts and social login need checking.
These controls neither promise multifactor authentication nor guarantee protection against fraud. They are not a security or regulatory compliance certification.
