Customer login with Google or Apple in Shopware
Let customers sign in with their Google or Apple account. FroggOAuth connects enabled providers to your shop’s customer accounts.
Use an identity the customer already knows
The customer selects an active login provider and follows its sign-in process. On return, the shop checks the identity data before continuing the journey.
Linking it to a shop account then allows that identity to be used for future logins.
Distinguish login from registration still to complete
If a shop account is identified, the customer is logged in. If registration is still required, the available information can prefill the form.
The destination after sign-in depends on the journey and configuration. Social login does not remove the need to provide the contact details required for an order.
Prepare Google and Apple access
Each provider requires its credentials, access and callback settings. The information received varies with the permissions granted and the provider’s rules.
Test existing-account matching, masked email addresses and missing data with the enabled providers. Also plan the journey offered when their service is unavailable.
