Assisted administration refers to internal tooling for authorised teams. It can help examine or prepare certain operations without being a public merchant assistant or delegating human decisions.
Use tools with an explicit scope
Internal connections through MCP, the protocol linking an assistant to tools, cover the Storyblok CMS, the theme and platform diagnostics, among other areas.
Reading configuration, editing content and publishing have different effects. Teams must identify the tool and environment before taking any action.
Check before and after changes
CMS tools can check content against its structure before transmitting it. Workflows then require a rendering check of the affected page.
Theme tools distinguish sources, applied settings and visual checks. A successful tool response does not replace team acceptance of the result.
Keep appropriate permissions
Service access, readable data and modification actions must be granted according to need. Unlike Ops diagnostic tools, some CMS and theme tools can modify the environment.
Human approvals belong to the operational framework: they must not be assumed to happen automatically in every tool. This internal capability does not announce public merchant access.
