FroggShop features

Product visibility in Shopware

Present the assortment appropriate to the visitor’s sales context. Restrictions distinguish products that can be viewed, prices that are visible and items that can be purchased.

Define rules on products and categories

Restrictions use the shop’s rules, such as a customer group. They can be attached to products and categories; the customer’s context determines how they apply in the relevant journeys.

Separate viewing, pricing and purchasing

Hiding a product does not have the same effect as hiding its price or preventing it from being added to the basket. These scopes are distinct so the presentation can reflect sales policy, particularly for an offer reserved for certain customers.

Check every route into the catalogue

Listings, searches, product pages and the basket must be tested with the selected customer profiles. Indexing and caching can affect when changes take effect.

These sales rules do not replace confidentiality controls across all channels and external interfaces. The scope actually protected must be checked before sensitive data is published there.
