The documentation repository helps business and technical teams take over the project through shared capabilities, rules and procedures. Access must be organised for the people concerned: this is not a public merchant portal supplied by default.

Entry points direct readers to a targeted procedure rather than a single page containing all information.
Keep decisions with the project
Working rules and procedures live in project repositories. Significant changes must leave the information needed for a human handover.
The foundation also provides access to generated module documentation, with publication and permissions to configure.
Check that content is current
The presence of documentation does not prove every page is complete or up to date. If there is a discrepancy, code behaviour and acceptance tests in the environment must be examined.
The project must define who maintains the documentation, what can be shared with the merchant and what information is restricted to operations.
