FroggShop features

Input rules: guide customers through forms in Shopware

Guide customers on the lengths and formats expected in supported forms. FroggShop applies declared rules to the relevant customer and address fields.

Explain constraints as customers type

Supported fields can expose length limits and expected formats. Server-side checks validate submitted data beyond browser assistance alone.

A rule can apply to a standard or business-specific field, such as street length or the expected format of a phone number.

Distinguish constraints for business system exchanges

For your business system’s constraints and API or Alfred writes, see the related feature on customer data checks for the ERP.

Check a format without certifying the data

A phone number in the requested format is not necessarily reachable; an address within the permitted length is not necessarily deliverable.

Rules, their messages and existing data must be tested together. An overly restrictive policy can reject legitimate contact details, particularly international ones.
